Passport to Art Day 23

If you want to join in with making an altered book through the month of July click through to the Passport to Art challenge blog.

Here on this blog I am going to share how I made the page for today's prompt.  Today's theme is about being an adult.  And the technique is to use shaving foam.

Here is today's page.

I decided to fold the pages behind today's page.

I used re-inkers with the shaving foam and took prints on cartridge paper.

The page on the left is a print I took by pressing the paper onto the page on the right before scraping off the foam.

And here's what they looked like when the foam was removed.

I took the piece on the right (above) and cut it to the size of the triangle of my page.  I put double-sided tape on to the back to make a pocket.

And stuck it down.

I inked and stamped the tag and stuck the verse onto it.  I cut up the quote and stuck that on the triangle.

The finished page.

Thanks for stopping by.
