Passport to Art Day 31

If you want to join in with making an altered book through the month of July click through to the Passport to Art challenge blog.

Here on this blog I am going to share how I made the page for today's prompt.  The last day - welcome home!

Today's challenge was to add bunting to the page and to sum up the journey of the last 31 days.

I put gesso on the pages and sprayed ink and let it run down the page.  I stuck the folded page to the page behind it to make a pocket for the tag.

I inked the tag with Distress Inks and stamped the bunting with Vermillion Archival Ink.

I cut triangles from the painted paper I had left over from the Dyan Revealey bleachout technique and glued them to the page along the line I had drawn with black pen.  I added the map strip, the quote and the verse.

I used Black Soot Distress Ink through a stencil to added the triangle pattern.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have enjoyed seeing how I have put together the pages of my altered book.  Come back tomorrow to find out about the finished book.

  1. Great job on keeping up! I'm really enjoying working on my altered book and will take another couple of weeks to finish it up.
