10 on the 10th ~ reasons to be thankful

I decided to combine my 10 on the 10th with my Heart Journaling.
This week's topic is Gratitude.

So here, in no particular order, are my 10 reasons to be thankful
  • Roger, my husband of 28 years
  • Andy, our son, and his wife Naomi
  • Friends - Facebook friends, church friends, family friends, crafting friends
  • Jesus - my Saviour
  • Good health - this is such a precious gift
  • Freedom -'It is for freedom that Christ has set us free'.
  • Salvation - I have been a Christian for over 20 years.
  • Jubilee Church - my local, vibrant church
  • Fun - lots of it with family and friends
  • Creativity - how I spend my days
In addition I was trying out my new Dylusions stamps and using some ideas from Kate Crane in an article in Craft Stamper.   I incorporated some ideas I saw on Dyan's blog.  Thank you Dyan.

Interestingly, today's Minute with Maxwell was about Creativity and he talks about 'borrowing from others and building it on it'.

FEEL

On Friday I set about making the pages in the Feel book from Kirsty Wiseman's class.  I decided that I wouldn't make the pockets as in the instructions and I would stick the journaling tag on the page to make a double page layout for each one.   I did the journaling while Roger was having his back operation on Saturday morning ~ it certainly took my mind off it!

And today I finished it and here it is:
Warning: there's lots of photos so you can give up now if you want!

A couple of links

I waste spend lots of time surfing the internet and came across Emily's blog: chatting at the sky

Her August 3rd post talked about blogging every day through October and she posted a link to 31 days

So giving my propensity to not finishing stuff will it be sensible for me to sign up?
Can I blog everyday for 31 days?
Will anybody read it?

I've got plenty of time to think about it!
And procrastinate!!
Plus who knows what I'll be doing in October! I have no idea what I'll be doing next week.

Being the Queen of Procrastination and the Queen of Unfinished Projects I was delighted to find this The Finishing Manifesto at Lemon & Raspberry where you can also sign up for 30 days of lists

Of course the issue is: will I finish reading The Finishing Manifesto?
