Gratitude Journal: Day 2

If you want to join in with making an Attitude of Gratitude Journal through the month of November click through to the Challenge blog.

Here on this blog I am going to share how I made the page for today's prompt on Attitude.

Today's art challenge was to use one of the techniques using the Ranger Distress range.

I watched the video about stamping with an acrylic block.  I don't own a fancy shaped one so used a small rectangular one.  I liked the look of having the page show through so didn't worry about colouring the background.

I cut out the verse and quote and inked the edges.  I stuck the sticker letters on for the title.

I wrote my journaling using the edge of the shapes.

Gratitude Journal: Day 1

If you want to join in with making an Attitude of Gratitude Journal through the month of November click through to the Challenge blog.

Here on this blog I am going to share how I made the page for today's prompt on Permission.

Today's art challenge was to use one of the techniques using something from the Ranger Distress Range.  I chose to use Distress Ink pads.

I used blending tools to put the ink on the page and then rolled it with my brayer.

The kraft paper envelope on the inside cover of my journal made lines as I rolled.  I put a piece of card under my page and rolled again.

I stamped randomly over the page.

Then I used one of the colours I had already used through a stencil to try to bring it altogether. I think I just made it more fussy.

I cut out my quote and verse and inked the edges and stuck them down.  Then I used sticker letters for the theme of the day and wrote my journaling along the acorn border.

November

The start of another month and on 12 Months in View today the challenge is to use any of the information as inspiration for a journal page or some other response.

I was fortunate to be given almost a complete set of Kaisercraft papers and embellishments which are just right for this month.  I used the papers to make this page.
