Thank you for following along with my altered book through the month of July.
There were still some pages left inside my book when I got to the end of the daily prompts.
This is the inside of the back cover.
I glued the last 2 pages together and put gesso on the pages in the first photograph above. I inked the pages with Distress Inks. This paper was left over from the shaving cream technique.
I cut a piece of it to fit behind the circular opening and stuck it down.
I stuck the page with the aperture down on top and then inked and stencilled the page. I added two quotes that I hadn't used during the month.
Once these pages were finished I need to add the cover before finally gluing down the very back page. You can see how I did the cover on Passport to Art.
Come back tomorrow to see the completed book.
Thanks for stopping by.

Little Details
Carolyn has a weekly meme on Thursdays called Messy Little Details. Find out about it here. Why don't you join in?
I took this photo in Florida last November. I took several photos but the butterfly always faced this way presumably to keep the sun on its back.
And the winner is - well I couldn't choose between you - I loved all the comments.
So could all 5 of you, Bonnie, Jennie, Scrapcat, Beverley and Carolyn, please email me and give me your name and postal address.
Thanks for leaving a comment.

August
Welcome to a new month. On 12 Months in View this is the last month of the Summer Season. There is an introduction to the month and a challenge to make a suitable page.
I decided that instead of art journaling I would try a page that was nearer to scrapbooking. In my stash was some lovely sunflower papers so I used that.
I added the title and some butterflies.
Have you worked out why I used this song title?
Thanks for stopping by.
