Today is the first day of the Blogging for Scrapbookers class with Shimelle. And I'm up-to-date! Ha! ha! I always start out with the best of intentions but invariably fall behind with Shimelle's classes and I have only ever managed to complete two of them. Well one day down and 14 prompts to go. Can but hope!

New background ~ new start?

I have signed up to do Shimelle's new class 'Blogging for Scrapbookers' which starts next week. I started looking around the internet for a new background for this blog and found this lovely watercolour one. Still having one or two problems with the editing of the header but hopefully I will be able to sort it out. The font and size of the header are out of proportion with the space for it. Hardly a crisis though!

I am really hoping that the class will spur me on to use this space more often.

My Chunky Fat Book

The pages made by the other ladies on UKS were sent to me yesterday. My theme was JOURNEY which could be interpreted widely - life journey, faith journey, travel, pathways etc

The end result is fantastic. The pages go so well together. I find it amazing that 8 people can be working on something all across the country and yet each individual contribution is in keeping with the others.

This week I've been working on a DT submission to The Studio. Click on the link on this page to see what The Studio is. I've completed 2 of the layouts and almost completed the third ~ just got to stick it down. Final layout to do today and then the 50 words of why I should be a member of the Design Team.
