Journal Update

My last Journal Update post was in July.  Seems a very long time ago!

I'm pleased to say that I completed Mary's Thessalonians Word Study.  Here are the pages to prove it!

I decided I was going to do 31 days of doodles - one a day through August.  But actually I didn't start until I finished the word study.

I still did 31 days, although sometimes I did 3 days at a time to catch up, finishing on September 5th.

They're not very exciting but at least I finished my challenge.

Thanks for joining me today.

Journal Update

I have continued to diary things I've done in my Everyday Journal.  I haven't done much about my word {walk} lately.  However I have included Mary's word study in Thessalonians 1 and 2.

I printed out the 31 day plan.  If you've looked at Mary's page, you will see mine looks a bit different.  That's because I like my calendars to start on a Monday not a Sunday.  I think it's a British thing.

I divided each page into 4 and used one rectangle for the diary and one for the word.  I've chosen one part of Mary's study to illustrate the day.

I have drawn out all the pages up to the end in August.  This way it will keep me committed to the study.  I do have a happy knack of giving up half way through!

I didn't get to do the collages every day which I had mentioned in a previous post.

Thanks for joining me today.

Final 30 day challenge update

The final update of my 30 day challenge.  Plus a bit of a twist at the end!

So the challenge was finished.  But there wer still pages left in the sketchbook, so I kept going.

I painted the inside of the covers and the facing pages with acrylic paint.

I used the same colour on the outside of the sketchbook and did a quick collage.

I've enjoyed being a little bit creative every day.  30 days is a reasonable amount of time for a challenge.  I'm in awe of Mary doing the 100 day project.  She has already done 80 days.

And now she is putting out a challenge of her own.  31 days of words found in Thessalonians 1 & 2. Mary will be writing a Bible study each day to go with it.  I think I'll give it a go.  Probably still making collages whilst meditating on the verse(s) Mary highlights for that day.

Thanks for joining me today.
