Today is the end of the Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt hosted by Rinda. I have shared my finds on other blog posts but today here they are altogether.
In previous years I've tried to get the whole list including the alternatives but this year I just didn't manage #18 or Alt. C.
Do go over to Rinda's blog where you will find links to other people's collections of photos. It is really interesting to see how other people interpret the challenge.
Thanks for stopping by.

More Scavenger Hunt photos
You will be relieved to know there are a lot less photos in this post than the owl post.
I am doing quite well with the scavenger hunt and only have 4 more to find.
I found a couple of version of #11 which I have already published.
#11 A cellular tower or a television satellite dish
#8 Someone plugged into 'social media'
#10 A College or University
#17 At least 2 people wearing matching outfits or uniforms
I also found this one for #17
#13 A merry-go-round or carousel
Alternative B: Someone holding an umbrella Here are 3 in a row.
So now, I'm just looking for #4 people playing a board game, #7 a turtle, #18 an overloaded vehicle and Alternative C: A rocking chair.
I rather think this is a tortoise:
And this is an overloaded front seat rather than the whole vehicle.
I've still got a few weeks to find the rest so I'll keep on looking.
Thanks for stopping by

Some more scavenger hunt finds
We went away again! And I left the list behind again! So sadly missed #17 - at least 2 people wearing matching outfits - I was at a wedding with several bridesmaids! And while I was having dinner on Thursday evening in the pub I watched a family playing cards - #4!
However I did find
#2 An ornate door knocker
#11 A cellular tower or television satellite dish
#19 A ticket booth
And then a more spectacular ticket booth inside a cave
And lastly in this post
#21 A photograph of me with a sign
Thanks for stopping by.

More scavenger hunt photos
Roger & I went away for three days and this time I printed out the scavenger hunt list and took it with me. And got Roger involved in it too!
I found repeat opportunities for some of the photos I have blogged already. Who can resist a photo of a public toilet that is built inside the tower of the lodge gate of a castle?
#12 A public restroom, bathroom, or toilet
inside this building!
Whilst we were away I also found
#14 A traffic signal. The red lights flash when the barrier comes down.
#15 A flag pole with at least 3 flags on it.
#16 A panoramic view, taken while standing someplace high in the air. This photo cannot count for #20 as well as it is a reservoir not a lake.
#20 A natural body of water. Roger spotted this large pond as we walked.
On our way home we stopped off in Leominster and saw this:
Alternative A: People eating outside.
I think I shall probably substitute this for #7: A turtle. We don't have turtles in the UK unless they are in a pet shop or a zoo. I have lots of photos of turtles in Florida but they don't count!
We stopped off at the supermarket as we neared home and I was able to get this photo:
#1. A bouquet of flowers
Sadly I saw at least 4 of the other items on the list but wasn't in the right place to take the photo. Never mind! An opportunity will arise.
Thanks for stopping by.

Scavenger Hunt
I have printed off the Scavenger Hunt list and hope to remember to take it with me when I go out! There's still time to join in. You can find the list here.
#3 A person walking a dog
#6 A metal bridge
#12 A public restroom, bathroom, or toilet
The metal bridge is over the canal at Kingswood Junction and we walked a little way from there to the Navigation Inn where we had lunch and I visited this rather tasteful restroom!
I should have taken a photo of us eating lunch outside at the pub as it's one of the alternatives in the list. Never mind. There's always next time.
Thanks for stopping by.

Summer Photography Scavenger Hunt
Each summer Rinda sets a Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt which people all over the world take part in.
I managed to complete the 2013 challenge.
This year's challenge started on June 1st but I have been busy with setting up the Culture of Honour blog, keeping up with #100happydays and the final clearing out of my Dad's house and its sale, amongst other things. So I held back on starting the hunt but whilst I was in Pembrokeshire I did gather one or two of the photos.
5. A rack of postcards. This was on the door of a Bistro in Porthgain, Pembrokeshire.
7. A rural landscape. This view was taken from Hanbury Church, Worcestershire on our way to Pembrokeshire.
16. A sign in a language other than English. I took several photos of signs in English and Welsh but chose this one because I love that it says that you could get a on a ship here in 1840 to sail to America for £4.
20. A bus with a picture painted on its sides. Apparently this bus is called the Celtic Coaster. We have always called it the Puffin Shuttle!
And a close up of the Puffin.
I hope you have enjoyed the start of my scavenger hunt.
