A digital page

On 12 Months in View today there is a giveaway of digital papers made by Anita van Hal.

I decided I would try to make a digital layout and have sort of succeeded.  I used Publisher and put the jpeg background into the document.  Then I used two of my own photos in Paint and cut out the shapes.  I found that in Publisher I could get rid of the outside bits.  Sadly they still don't look as good as real torn paper glued on!  Then I put the words over the top and printed it out to stick into my journal.
 Of course I can always come back to it and stamp and ink over it.

    I use publisher a lot at work as I produce the school newsletter but I have never thought of it as a means of doing digital Scrapbooking! Great idea, I may have to have a play myself.
