850 and counting!

This is my 850th blog post since I started in May 2008.  Mind you the next post wasn't until December.    Here are my Stats: 155458 pageviews and this munber of posts over the years: ►  2008 (2), ►  2009 (7), ►  2010 (32), ►  2011 (137), ►  2012 (164), ►  2013 (261), ►  2014 (193) and to date ►  2015 (53).

My most visited blog post was about Dyan Reaveley in my Celebrating UK Artists series.

And the next most visited one was Playing - which is about a Dyan Reaveley technique!
This is the same technique in an altered book

I have loved blogging my craft journey and I hope you have enjoyed it too.

So by way of a celebration let's have a giveaway.  Leave a comment below and include whether you are from the UK or International and I will choose 2 names at random and send the two prizewinners (one UK & one International) some Happy Mail.

If you've never received Happy Mail - it's an envelope full of crafting goodies - papers, embellishments - anything really that's useful for scrapbooking or mixed media of any kind.

Leave your comment by Saturday 4th July and I will pick the winners at noon UK time.

And lastly a big thank you to all who have followed me over the years and to those who have left me lovely comments.
Thank you

Here's to the next 850!

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Congrats on post #850! I have enjoyed getting to know you and following you. Thanks for all you teach and share of your art process. I am international - currently visiting the US but living in India and would love a chance to win. :)

  2. Wow, that's awesome, to have reached 850 blog posts and kept track of them. I'm afraid I would have lost count long time ago. I have enjoyed your posts and art ever since I started in the Bible Journaling Group. It seems like years ago to me. Your mixed media style has inspired me to do the same, it is so spontaneous and fun and messy! I wanted to thank you Bernice for your help by posting and even little tips and lessons. God bless and keep creating and yes I would love to get happy mail. It's been ages since I've gotten any and it is definitely a little like Christmas.

    1. I'd love to take the credit for keeping track Linda, but Blogger does it for me. It can also tell me which countries people who read my blog are from.

  3. Hi Bernice, Isabell from Australia. Congratulations on such a wonderful milestone! I discovered you through your YouTube clip on your first altered book. From there I found your website and completed my first ever internet challenge last May. (The art of Practising Gratitude). Thankyou for sharing your journey with your followers.

  4. I'm international. I love reading about your creations and seeing what you are up to next. Thank you so much for the chance!

  5. I don't know how I stumbled onto your blog, but I've enjoyed reading it. May you have many more posts!

  6. I am from the USA and sending a big congrats to you. You have been so inspirational in getting me into art journaling. A year ago I didn't know anything about it and then I found your blog and the study "A Culture of Honour". I was on my way, and so I say thank~you for sharing your knowledge and talent that God has supplied you with.

  7. Congratulations Bernice!
I'm in the UK and I've enjoyed following your progress for a while!

  8. Congratulations Bernice and thank you for blogging! I would not have met you otherwise :) You have encouraged me with your online groups and posts these past few years since I found you online. Blessings to you for more!

  9. Congratulations, Bernice! You are making a difference in our lives. I'm international.

  10. Wow Bernice - that's a lot of posts...congratulations! Thank you for offering a chance at your generous giveaway. ~Lori :)

  11. I missed this post Bernice and am sorry I didn't get a chance to congratulate you. 850 blog posts is some doing, and it was interesting to see your Stats. 261 posts in 2013 is quite some undertaking! I missed my own blog anniversary this year as I have been preoccupied with other things, but it is good to mark occasions and to celebrate. So, here I am, late, but none the less cheering you one and clapping loudly!!

I would love you to leave me an encouraging comment. Don't forget to put your name. I love to know who is commenting. Thank you.
