Half way

Can you believe we're halfway through the year?!

Over the past few months I have bought rather more sticker books than are sensible.  So I need to use them.  The journal pages for June reflect me using them.

This one is totally butterfly mad because it was Naomi's birthday this week.

Just getting round to sorting out this week and the monthly calendar.  A bit behind for some reason.

Thanks for joining me today.

Journal Spreads

It's quite a while since I shared my weekly journal pages.

I forgot to photograph the week of March 7th-13th.

Here's a very neutral spread.

Back to the blush pink with added polka dots

Instead of Happy Planner stickers I used Planything Houses and Trees.

The month of April ready to be filled in.

This week's spread.

And I'm ahead of the game for next week.  A faith-filled spread for Easter Week.

Really! Another month gone!

Can you believe we're in the last week of February?!  Almost 2 months of 2022 gone already!

Just a short planner/journal update todate.

All ready for this week.  I may have gone overboard with the stickers!

But when you have a week with not much on and therefore little to write about, then it's all about the stickers!

Here's my March calendar.  Hopefully the weather will start getting better and I can get out of the house more.

Thanks for stopping by

Using your zine

In my last post I showed you how to make a zine of zine with a woven spine.  Here are some photos of what I have done with it.

I used printed paper stickers

And transparent stickers

I've left empty pages for sticking pictures in or doing some journaling.

I stamped with waterproof ink.

If your sticker is too wide for the page then put it up the other way!

This isn't finished.  It will be an ongoing project.  I might give it to a friend.  Who knows!

Thanks for joining me today.

L is for Living Life

In our Living Your Word of the Year group we are using a fortnightly (bi-weekly) A-Z challenge throughout the year to help us focus on our word and live it out.

Because of the way I have made my journal it's a case of going with the flow of what background the pages have when I turn to them.  I think this page is so lively so I decided to concentrating on committing to living life to the full.

I had the privilege of seeing Valerie Sjodin's travel journal in the 'flesh' and loved her use of washi tape. I am following her Washi Tape Adventure series on her blog.  I copied part of one of her pages here.

As well as using up some of my washi tape, I am also committed to using up lots of the stickers from my stash.  I went through them looking for appropriate ones and put them on a perspex ruler to see whether they would fit.

I went a bit mad and put all of them on.

And then looked at some transparent stickers with words on.

And finally went round everything with a neon orange pen.

I only hope I can live up to this!

Thanks for joining me today.

We will each blog about our experiences and our art.
