AEDM ~ day 12

And I'm still going.

This is inspired by a page and tutorial by Julie Fei-Fan Balzer using watercolours.  I dripped some Dylusions spray inks down the page and then drew with a waterproof Posca pen.  That in itself is amazing for me. Normally I would draw it with a pencil and then go carefully over the lines and get annoyed with myself when I didn't get the lines right.  But I aimed for total freedom of line drawing and splodged paint on wherever it landed.

And I'm really pleased with it.

  3. oh my gosh the joy is splashing off this piece! All creative efforts should begin with "this is a deliberate attempt to not worry about things being precise"

  4. You should be pleased, Bernice....it looks lovely! I am trying to loosen up myself when it comes to my art...I've always been a bit of a perfectionist as I started out with realism art and everything must be perfect for that. Nowadays, I prefer the more loose, free styles of art. :)
