Many of the people whose blogs I follow take part in WOYWW. I haven't taken part in it before and probably won't again ~ mostly because it would always be a variation of this:
I missed making a tag yesterday as I went for what I was hoping was my last day of work. I'm pleased to say that I finished the accounts for January and they reconciled. Whoot! whoot! However there's still the Petty Cash to sort out and then get everything together for the Accountants so they can do the year end. So I will back there again next Tuesday ~ hopefully for only half a day.
Today I have made 3 tags!!!
I don't make cards so I made a tag instead for my friend's birthday.
The other 2 tags are for Nicki's countdown challenge. I worked on both of them at the same time and I used Distress Inks and some Paperartsy stamps. I got them to this stage but didn't really like them.
I didn't want to get into the full 3D mode with lots of embellishments. So I put the tags through the Cuttlebug using a Tim Holtz texture fade. I did one the right way up and then tried the negative on the other one. Then I re-inked them and inked the edges.
Thank you for showing us your desk!
ReplyDeleteI liked the embossed tag over the debossed tag. Did you like one more than the other? I feel like everything I do teaches me something.
hugs Claudia
