I got going early today ~ something to do with having an 8am appointment at the hairdressers - so started on my tag at 9 o'clock. I have linked this tag to the Studio L3 Compendium of Curiosities and will hopefully try to link it to All Things Tim Yahoo group
Here are a couple of backgrounds I've started (around midnight last night) using the ghosting technique I described before. I used the Dylusions inks and a Crafters Workshop stencil.
I did this one with Dylusions acrylic paints and a baby wipe. The pattern underneath is where I had wiped a stencil I was using somewhere else. Then I used the baby wipe again to stencil the orange birds.
And here's one I made earlier. This was a page I started when I was doing a Dina Wakley online course. I'm planning on writing on this one and collaging some words and pictures.
Bernice, those backgrounds are ah-maze-ing! I want to learn how to do them! They're gorgeous!!!

Great tag. I love the way you used a few colours for your rusted enamel.
ReplyDeleteThe tag is gorgeous, love your backgrounds.
ReplyDeleteYour tag is wonderful. Love the way you combined the colors. Just looking at the rest of your blog, it would appear you are an expert at blending colors and using different techniques. Good luck in the CCC.
ReplyDeleteBernice, it's lovely to see you at the CCC... and to admire this beautiful tag you've created! Your rusted enamel looks fabulous, and the stamping is great. I love the sentiment!
