If you want to join in with making an A to Z of Me Journal through the month of February click through to the Challenge blog.
Here on this blog I am going to share how I made the page for today's prompt on Adventure.
I used distress inks to colour the page in the same way that Tim Holtz demonstrates for tags using a blending tool.
I put one of my new Artist Cellar map stencils over the top and sprayed water through the stencil.
I left the water for a little while and then dried the page. The effect is quite subtle because the background colour is subtle. The darker you make your page the more the bleachout will show.
I tried it with another stencil but because I put too much water it bled through so you can't tell what it was!
I stamped the word for today and drew some lines with black pen and wrote my journaling between the lines.
I randomly stamped and then stuck on both the quote and the scripture.
I hope you enjoy this adventure we're having together. See you tomorrow.
