P is for Possibilities

If you want to join in with making an A to Z of Me Journal through the month of February click through to the Challenge blog.

Here on this blog I am going to share how I made the page for today's prompt on Possibilities.

I had so loved the shaving foam background for Openness that I printed the next page as well.  Here's the foam before I scraped it off the page.

I scraped off the foam and stamped the word.  I inked the edges of the verse and the quote and stuck them down.

This is an old 6x4" photo of a beach in Spain.

I sanded the photo leaving the trees intact.   I did a wash of watercolour paint over the sky and the land and then scratched into it with my pokey tool.

I rubbed some black Distress Ink into the words and then added some more water.

I didn't like the straight edges of the photo with the swirly background so I tore and inked the edges.

I added my journaling in a wavy line.

I love the shaving foam background but I don't think it's a good match to today's technique challenge.

Have a great day.  See you tomorrow.

Bernice

  1. Wonderful shaving foam background the colours you used have gone together so well. I feel your photo came to life when you tore the edges. A really lovely journal page
