If you want to join in with making an A to Z of Me Journal through the month of February click through to the Challenge blog.
Here on this blog I am going to share how I made the page for today's prompt on Responsibilities.
This page too had remnants of the shaving foam!
I taped down the stencil with masking tape and used 3 colours of Distress Inks to colour through the stencil. I then stamped randomly with a dot stamp and a script stamp.
I used a lemon Distress Ink to colour the whole page as the white was too stark against the turquoise of the previous page which lies next to it. I stamped the word and used a Glaze pen to inline it. I inked the edges of the verse and the quote and stuck them down. Then I journaled along some of the lines from the stencilled shape.
I love using Distress Inks. I can't wait to get my hands on the Distress Paints.
I hope your A to Z Journal is going well.

A really lovely page and I just love the way you have built up the layers with the mask and stamps.

I am in love with the distress inks also. I love your layers. I need to get myself a large stencil like the one you used. Beautiful as always.
ReplyDeleteYep - it is agreed - I definitely need a stencil with bigger holes! Great page.
ReplyDeleteThat shaving foam pattern really adds to the depth of the page. I like the writing along the stencil gaps.
