I explained last week how I made the backgrounds for this month's theme.
Here's the page ready.
There was a lot of white near the spine on the right hand page so I used a patterned roller to add the turquoise paint.
I printed out some clipart arrows from the computer, cut them out and drew round them on compressed cellulose sponge.
I dipped the arrows in water so they became thick sponge.
I really liked the quote that Mary used:
“Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.” ~William Arthur Ward
I put the key words on the page with the arrows to show the turning.
I drew round the words with coloured pens.
Thanks for stopping by.
Bernice
I love this Bernice - the sponge arrows work really well!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done! Love seeing the steps you did.
ReplyDeleteOh I really like this Bernice! Did you use the sponge as a stamp or glue the sponge shape on the page? I really really like that!
