I signed up for an online class from Roben-Marie Smith called Art-Full Attaché. I love her classes and this time instead of jumping straight in and doing the project I have been taking my time to watch the videos - there are over 50 of them! And at the same time thinking about what I learned about the colours I like and what my voice might be in it all.
Sticking with the colour scheme I decided to play with the gelli plate. I restricted the colours and the stencils and came up with these. I have scanned them into the computer which has dulled them down a bit.
And this is my favourite
I printed out two of them onto thin card and then cut them up into pieces - a 6x4", two 4x3", some strips and punched some circles. The joy of having them as photos is that I can print them out and cut them out in any format I want. I could also alter the colour in a photo editor, (if I had one!)
I'm going to search my stash for a variety of papers and make myself up a kit and then I'll be ready to start - once I've watched all of the videos.
Thanks for stopping by.

Absolutely Beautiful papers, Bernice.
ReplyDeleteThese papers are sure to inspire you as you begin creating your journal. They remind me of a forest filled with snow. I see birch trees and the beautiful patterns of nature. Have fun with the workshop and I appreciate the shout out!
ReplyDeleteThese are really lovely Bernice!
ReplyDeleteThose are so cool! I could use them as digital papers.
