If you want to join in with making an altered book through the month of July click through to the Passport to Art challenge blog.
Here on this blog I am going to share how I made the page for today's prompt. Today's inspiration comes from the poem 'Adlestrop' and the challenge is to add flowers to the page.
This is today's almost triangular page.
I put a piece of masking tape down the right hand side of the page before spraying with Dylusions inks and mopped it with paper towel.
I felt it was a bit bright so I sprayed White Linen ink through a stencil and then removed the masking tape.
I added the flowers by inking through a stencil with Distress Ink. I stamped the birds and added the verse. I wrote my journaling on the tag.
I stencilled on the other side of the tag and added the quote. I used a large 7 Gypsies paper clip to attach the tag.
This is how yesterday's page now looks with the paper clip.
Thanks for stopping by.

This looks so gorgeous Bernice! I bet you have inky hands!
ReplyDeleteI really like the way all your pages look when put together. I've got a page set for Monday and hope to have a few more ready to post for Tuesday as well.

I've been keeping up with the challenges and having a wonderful time! So many new techniques! I'm writing each one down as we go so I don't forget any!!! I wear a pair of thin gloves when I work with ink sprays, and it works perfectly. Just peel them off, and the paint is gone.
